The Mountain Exhale: The Studio’s Retreat

Breathe in the Mountains, Move with Purpose, and Recharge Your Spirit

Overview

The Mountain Exhale Retreat

Breckenridge, Colorado | 5 Days

Step into the mountains and let your breath deepen, your body soften, and your mind fully exhale. The Mountain Exhale retreat is a five day immersion designed to help you rest, restore, and recharge through movement, nature, and mindful connection. Each day blends grounding yoga practices, meditation, and mindfulness with Colorado's natural medicine - guided hikes through alpine trails at the breathtaking St. Marys Glacier, an invigorating rafting experience (dependent on water levels) OR scenic water experience (Lake Dillon), and a special yoga practice at the iconic Red Rocks. Expect moments of quiet stillness and playful adventure, spacious downtime, and supportive community.

This retreat invites you to slow your pace, tune into your body, and reconnect with what truly nourishes you. Whether you're moving breathing, laughing, or simply taking in the mountain air, every experience is intentionally curated to help you release tension and return home feeling clear, steady, and deeply renewed.

Meet Your Host

Jennifer Risio

Jenn Risio’s journey with yoga began in 1997, when she first fell in love with the practice in a humble Cleveland gym. What started as movement quickly became a lifelong devotion—a way of listening to the body, honoring the breath, and reconnecting with the quiet wisdom within. In 2009, she stepped fully into teaching after completing her Yoga Teacher Training at Grace School of Yoga under Judy McLaine, grounded in the lineage and teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra.

Jenn’s teaching is a powerful, soulful fusion shaped by the influence of beloved teachers such as Jason Crandall, Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, and Elena Brower. Her classes are creative, strong, and deeply intentional—inviting students to move with purpose, breathe with awareness, and find presence both on and off the mat. She skillfully balances strength and softness, offering space to explore stillness within effort and joy within the unfolding journey.

A Reiki Master Teacher, Jenn weaves healing energy and heart-centered awareness into every class she leads. Her background as a Certified Pilates Instructor and her passion for functional movement bring a grounded, intelligent approach to the body—supporting longevity, resilience, and ease in daily life.

Jenn is the owner of The Studio in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, where she lovingly cultivates community through yoga, Reiki trainings, and soulful gatherings. Teaching is her purpose, and nature is her sanctuary. Whether guiding students beneath open skies or within quiet studio walls, Jenn’s mission remains the same: to help others come home to themselves—body, mind, and spirit—remembering their own strength, softness, and innate wholeness.

Special Guest Teacher - Linda Vivino

Quiet by nature and deeply reflective, Linda finds solace in the peace and stillness that yoga offers. As an introvert, the mat has always been her sanctuary—a place to reconnect, recharge, and rediscover balance. When she steps into the studio, she joyfully becomes an extrovert for an hour, sharing her love of movement and mindfulness with her students.
Her teaching is shaped by training with David Vendetti, whose creative approach and emphasis on freedom of movement deeply inspire her classes. She has also studied beginner yoga with Jason Crandell, cultivating a clear and accessible teaching style, and completed Accessible Yoga training with Jivana Heyman, reinforcing her belief that yoga is truly for everyone.
Her classes invite students to slow down, listen inward, and move with intention. Beyond the mat, she loves to laugh, explore new places, and embrace the beauty of the unknown. Curious about life and all its possibilities, Linda brings warmth, presence, and a sense of adventure to every class she teaches.
