FAQS

FAQS

  • This training is designed for yoga teachers who have already completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance–approved program and are ready to deepen their practice, expand their skills, and step into their authentic teaching voice.

  • No. You don’t need to be actively teaching to benefit from this program. Many participants join to enrich their personal practice, reconnect with yoga philosophy, or step into teaching with more confidence.

  • Our training weaves the shamanic wisdom of the Four Directions—East, South, West, and North—into a traditional Yoga Alliance–approved curriculum. You’ll gain not only advanced teaching tools but also transformational practices like storytelling, dream tending, and embodied reflection to help you grow as a teacher and as a person.

  • The training can be completed in as little as six months, but you’ll have the flexibility to move at your own pace. If life gets busy, you can take longer—this program is designed to meet you where you are and support you all the way through.

  • Each student receives personalized guidance from experienced faculty, designed to support your growth as a teacher and in your personal practice. Mentorships include feedback on your teaching, career support, and space to ask questions that arise along the way.

  • Yes. Once you complete this 300-hour training, you can register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500, provided you already hold a 200-hour certification.

  • Each direction—East, South, West, and North—frames a different phase of the training. Together they form a complete journey: vision, growth, reflection, and integration. This unique approach helps you deepen self-understanding while learning to guide others authentically.

  • Not at all. The Four Directions framework is woven in gently and accessibly. It’s used as a map for self-discovery and teaching—not as something you need prior experience in.

  • We understand life happens. All sessions can have make up options. You’ll work with me mentor to stay on track.

  • That’s perfectly fine. Many students join primarily for personal growth, community, and deepening their own practice. The skills you gain—confidence, leadership, and self-awareness—are valuable both on and off the mat.
